Description

A pair of WWII Trench Art Vases made from German 3.7cm PAK 36 anti-tank shells. One engraved C.M.F. (Central Mediterranean Force) and applied with the a cartouche engraved with the insignia of the Fifth U.S. Army (A5 within a mihrab), the other engraved M.E.F. (Mediterranean Expeditionary Force) and applied with a shield shaped cartouche engraved with a cross.

The screw in detonators are missing. The shells are dated 1936 & 1938.
