Here we have this oak settle made in the early part of the 20thc.
Made as the best example you would find of a 17thc piece. This box settle, known as this due to the storage section, with a lifting lid.
The top rail with exquisite carving.
Having a plain oak 4 panel back, with open arms to each end, with turned supports.
Having the storage box with lifting lid, and a 4 panel front and finishing on stile legs.
