C19th Pair Bronze Ewers or Jugs on Marble Plinth

Description

C19th French pair of bronze ewers, the fluted neck with acanthus leaf and entwined snake handle above a frieze with an interesting scene of figures and horses, the 'waisted' base with acanthus leaf decoration standing on a plinth of olive green marble with red and charcoal coloured veins. The bronze has a lovely colour and patination.

Excellent condition.
