Early C20th Alabaster Ceiling Light

1900 - 1920
Description

A spectacular early C20th alabaster ceiling light, the ormolu ceiling rose depicting bunches of grapes and vine leaves, with three foliate chains suspending a circular translucent terracotta alabaster bowl, the interior with three conceiled bulbs producing a wonderful subtle light; the exterior of the bowl with three protruding ormolu branches with flowers and leaves terminating in three large opaque glass rose shaped shades.
