Superb Quality Antique Edwardian Solid Oak Tambor Roll Top Kneehole Desk C1900

Description

This is a superb quality edwardian tambor roll top desk and dating from aorund 1900. Constructed from solid mahogany it has a tambor rolled top with brass escutcheon and which opens to reveal a lovely oak writing surface with various pigeon holes to the top. The base has a central frieze drawer with three graduating drawers to one side and to the other side there is one drawer with a double fronted filing drawer all of which are oak lined and with original oak handles. It stands on squared legs and has oak panels to the side and back. It comes apart for ease of transporting.

This is a superb quality desk to which the photographs do not do any justice. It is in very good condition with a lovely colour and patination to the oak.

Measures: 40" high X knee height 26" X 36" deep X 45" wide and height to writing surface 30".
