Description

Large Ardennais landscape (Ardennes region - north eastern France) signed by the artist H Descamps and dated 1939. There is also an inscribed label on the rear. The painting is mounted in a quality wooden gilt frame and slip. Both the canvas and frame are in good condition but there has been some small areas of damage to the frame which have been painted over at some stage.
