18th Century French writing table veneered in tulipwood with rosewood and Kingwood inlaid bandings, the rectangular shaped top with a parquetry design running round underneath, with a drawer at the centre and a pull out leather lined writing slide above, with a cupboard either side opening to reveal a drawer and a false drawer, the false drawer front drops down to reveal a compartment, the back of the table there is a single oak lined drawer incorporated in the parquetry crossbanding, standing on slender cabriole legs terminating with nice ormolu feet, all the drawers are oak lined with original steel locks. Circa 1780.
