Large Antique English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1916

Description

A very stylish and elegant photograph frame with a shaped silhouette and an oval aperture.

The back is made from solid English Oak with a folding easel stand (replacement hinge at some stage).

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1916, a true antique example. The makers mark is also present for the well renowned silversmith, A. J. Zimmerman Ltd. This example is also lucky enough to have an English design registration number.

Excellent condition and ready for use, the overall size measuring 9 3/4" x 7 7/8" with the glazed aperture measuring 8" x 6".
