French Walnut Directoire Commode

Description

A handsome and unusual French walnut commode or chest from the Directoire period circa 1790. with three large drawers below a solid walnut top all standing on small turned legs, with bronze escutcheons to the drawers. All recently been waxed and new drawer runners so that everything works well. Great colour and excellent condition.
