A handsome and very usable magnifying glass made from a combination of polished English brass and the handle covered in Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell.

The brass has been professionally polished and the lens without damage with a good strong and clear magnification.

Dating to the late Vicrorian era, it dates to around 1890/1900.

Excellent condition, measuring 8 3/4" with a glass diameter measuring 3 7/8".
