Description

Lovely antique george 11 carved country oak coffer c1760

This is a lovely antique george 11 carved country oak coffer and dating from around 1760. Constructed from solid oak it has a three plank top with carved frieze above two carved panels to the front (both of which have a joint line). It is carved to each side and also to the base. It stands on squared feet and is panelled to the sides and has its original rough hewn panelled back.

It is hand & peg joined

A lovely original antique george 11 coffer with a lovely deep colour and original patination . It is in very good condition oozing the charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 31" high X 23" deep X 50" wide
