Antique Burr Walnut Chest on Chest – Tallboy

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique walnut chest on chest is of extremely high quality & is in excellent original condition. The front is all burr walnut with a very strong pattern. The sides are figured walnut & also nicely patterned. It has seven drawers graduated in depth, with fine dovetails & lovely original brass handles. All the drawers have their original locks too & we have the key. The base is stunning, with a shaped out bottom frieze & hand carved solid walnut feet. This chest on chest dates to around the 1910-20’s period & separates into two sections for easy transportation.
