Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Coral & Pearl Ring - Circa 1888 - 9.5 Grams

Description: - A fine Victorian 18ct yellow gold coral & pearl ring. The ring is set with two pearls, and a central coral. As was common for the period, the ring is stamped 18 to denote 18 carat gold.  
Date: - Circa 1888.
Period: - Late 19th Century.
Engraving: - The ring has been engraved, but this is mostly rubbed through age and previous resizing.
Maker: - Unknown.
Measurement: - UK Size R 1/2 / US size 8 7/8.  The ring measures 1.0cm in height to the front and 0.4cm to the reverse.
Weight: - 9.5 grams / 0.31 troy ounces.
Condition: - Light surface scratches to the shank. The ring displays signs of having previously been resized. The pearls are in good overall condition, with minor wear to the nacre, and with good lustre. The coral is in good condition, displaying minor surface wear commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
