Large Square Victorian Solid Silver Inkwell 1900

This fabulous VICTORIAN SOLID SILVER INKWELL is of square form with a raised gadrooned base with decorated shoulders.

The four sides are raised to form a square stepped top to the inkwell which has a decorated hinged lid which is finished with a beautiful flower bud finial. The inkwell is complete with the original glass ink container.

Made by the well-known Sheffield silversmiths of Hawksworth Eyre & Co. in 1900, this quality antique is free from any added monograms, initials or engravings and is in excellent condition.

A superb beautifully designed quality antique that would look fabulous on any desk or in any setting and would certainly enhance any silver collection.
