Description

Rare set of eight mid 19th.c. Welsh oak cottage dining chairs c.1850. Two carver armchairs and six matching chairs. All with low backs, bobbin turned rails, and slatted back rests over a board seat raised on square legs and stretchers. The carvers with shaped arms on bobbin turned supports. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops

Dimensions: width 18", depth 17", height 35½". Armchairs: width 20½", depth 21", height 38".
