The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
This particular watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Record name. There is an inner cover which protects the movement… it has some surface scratching where the back has been opened in the past.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is in good condition with just some general surface marks from use, and a slight “ding” to the case back, not too detrimental.

The watch has a nice thick glass with bevelled edge… there are a couple of minor marks.
The signed dial looks good to the naked eye. Through a magnifying loupe, there are a couple of short very faint hairlines by number 4. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
