Description

A 1920s gold plated pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement (with 17 jewels, 2 adjustments and whiplash regulator) which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company… Dennisons supplied cases to various watch assembly companies. This is the Star model, a gold plated case which was originally guaranteed to wear for 10 years. There is a small pin prick “ding” to the back but overall the condition is good with just light surface marks.

The lens is in good condition.

The watch has a white enamel double sunk dial, Breguet style blued steel hands, and an outer minute track. There are three hairline cracks radiating out from the centre.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
