Description

A most attractive Escritoire writing cabinet French C 1880.

This delightful antique desk is in exceptional condition.The top 3 drawer fronts lower to reveal an original writing surface, with drawers and pigeon holes for stationary, etc The four drawers below are smoothly running and have original brass handles and working keys.The entire chest is veneered in rosewood, cross banded in Ebony and further embellished with ormolu mounts.

Shown here in best showroom condition, having been lightly refurbished and wax polished.
