A Handsome Art Deco Silver Cigarette Case

1900 - 1920
Description

A handsome silver cigarette case from the mid 1920's. This quality piece is made of heavy gauge silver. The exterior is decorated with engine turning and features a vacant round cartouche to the front. The body has a charming curve to fit snugly in the pocket. The clasp is strong and the interior is fully gilt, with the added touch of the original straps still in place. A lovely, quality piece, still usable today.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents or breaks to the silver. There is some staining and scratching to the interior commensurate with age and use. The hinge and clasp are strong.
