Description

A beautifully executed model of a handsome Greyhound dog standing on the original polished marble base.

I believe the finish is silver plate on a base metal, perhaps spelter; if you look at a small area to the back of the dog collar which has been polished, the finish appears to be silver. We have left it with the antique patina leaving it to the new owner whether to polish or leave as is.

Dating to the early twentieth century, around 1910, it remains in excellent undamaged condition. 7" x 4" x 5 1/2" tall.
