Description

An Arts & Crafts walnut writing cabinet probably from the workshop’s of James Shoolbred. The top having an attractive pierced gallery with good quality brass fittings. The fall with 2 chamfered panels and opens to reveal an interior with various pigeon holes, pen tray, 2 ink pots and leather lined writing surface. The fall is supported by the drawer when opened and below is an open shelf with turned galleried ends. The lower section with a tambour front and shelved interior, the whole raised on square tapering legs. Condition - very good with working lock & keys and waxing before delivery. Sizes:- Height…47.5’’/ 121cm. Width…28.25’’/ 71.5cm. Depth…11.75’’/ 30cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £48.
