Masons Antiques has dated this Antique Oak Longcase Clock to the 1750s.

The 8 day, 5 pillar movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff.
The square brass dial has a silvered chapter ring with engraved black Roman numerals, gilded spandrels, and a matted centre. A subsidiary seconds dial and an aperture date dial. Importantly, there are both internal and external minute rings typical of the changeover period between one and two handed clocks.
