A silver 1930s Swiss pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The high grade jewelled movement has jewelled pallets a Breguet hairspring and micro regulator, and is stamped 16 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49.3mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1936 and was made by the English based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has light surface marks from use and a mild uneveness to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s watch.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack on the sub seconds dial although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands.

The watch come on a silver albert chain which is hallmarked for Birmingham 1913 with the makers mark H.P. The albert has a silver fob which has Birmingham hallmarks for 1914 with the makers mark CS. The fob was presented by The Guildford Diocesan Guild, St Marys Horsell.

The albert chain measures 38cm long including the T bar and clasp. The chain and fob weigh 26.4g in total.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
