Burr Walnut Two Door Combination Wardrobe C.1870.

Description

Very handsome mid 19th.c. burr walnut two door combination wardrobe c.1870. Fitted with four sliding shelves and two drawers inside the left hand door whilst the right has full length hanging with a single drawer below. A great looking wardrobe with deep overhanging cornice and arch panel doors all veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut laid in a symmetrical pattern on mahogany groundwork. Raised mouldings to the doors, walnut veneered sides and a plinth base. Ash lined drawers and slides. Superb colour and condition with original brass handles, lock and latches. Cleaned and polished in our workshops. Splits into two pieces plus cornice and plinth for ease of delivery.
