Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Either way, they are also nice individually. Check out the other one on the site. Like the other commode this one too has the original marble top, ormolu mounts, escutcheons, handles & feet. It's in good original condition with plenty of character. This commode is predominately Kingwood with shaped cross banding. This piece still retains it's original locks & the mounts are fine quality. I would date this to around the 1890 period. Both commodes are very similar. The shape, the wood & the fittings are close to. Both have beautiful original marble tops in excellent condition.
