The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
Later automatic watches have the fully rotational rotor.

The watch itself measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chrome plated with a stainless steel case back. The front of the case is in good condition but there is some marking / wear around the opening to the movement on the back of the watch.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a great look, it is in its original finish and it looks good to the naked eye… if you look very closely there is some light marking. Original hands (the infill has been removed over the years), a subsidiary seconds dial and minute markers. The dial states the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water.
A later NATO style strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
