The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The high grade 15 jewel movement has a Bregeut hairspring and a Mosley regulator. The movement is signed Elgin Nat'l Watch Co, U.S.A, 15 jewels and it has the serial number 29239546 which dates it back to 1927.

The watch measures 50.3 mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop . The 14ct gold filled case was made by the Keystone watch case company and is the J.Boss model. The case is in nice condition with only a couple if tiny "dings" to the back. The case back has monogrammed initials.

The plastic lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The dial is enamel and it is signed Elgin, Made in U.S.A. and is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
