An Excellent Silver Triple Stamp Case

1920 - 1940
Description

A wonderful silver triple stamp case. This good quality and useful piece, features engine turned decoration to both the lid and the case. The hinged lid is secured by a small clasp to the front and is part hallmarked. To the top left hand corner is a rectangular cartouche, engraved with the word 'Stamps' . The interior is fully gilded and there are three stamp compartments with engine turned decoration, echoing the case. A truly lovely, useful piece.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits or loss. There is one small blemish to the lid on the left hand side, some discolouration and a scratch to the gilding, all commensurate with age and use.
