9ct Gold Buren Eldis Mid-size Wrist Watch, 1941

Description

A 9ct gold Buren Eldis mid-size wrist watch, 1941.

The watch has a good quality Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 28mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1941 together with the maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison… the Dennison Watch Case Company made cases for many watch manufacturers. There are some small marks, and also some unevenness to the case back.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is in beautiful condition.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
