A Fine Victorian Mahogany Dressing Table Swing Mirror Circa 1880

19th century
Description

An absoluteley excellent victorian mahogany dressing table swing mirror with jewel box containing the original burgundy velvet lining.

This mirror is in excellent condition and all fittings are original and fully functional. The swing mirror pivot hinges actually work which is unusual so this mirror doesn't flop back every time the position is adjusted! The hinges on the box are original and work perfectly and the base stands squarely without rocking...another unusual feature!

There is no damage or repair to this item it has been well looked after and is ready for use.

The small dog in some of the pictures is called 'pippa' and she has forgotten where she has hidden her latest bone, she is no respector of photo shoots especially when 'bone loss' is an issue!
