Description

19th Century French mahogany and marble top commode, the demi lune shaped white and grey marble top with a pierced brass gallery, the frieze below having ormolu swag decoration with rams heads at the top of the front two columns, with three oak lined drawers at the centre with ormolu swag handles and escutcheons, the sides of the commode having parquetry panels along with the drawer fronts, the shaped apron having ormolu decoration at the front of the commode, standing on rear square legs with brass caps and the front having small cabriole legs with ormolu feet. Circa 1880.
