Antique Edwardian Silver-rimmed Jug And Bowl

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

This is a very pretty solid sterling silver-rimmed jug and bowl.

Clearly hallmarked on the rim with the maker''s mark of Hart & Sons and the assay stamp for London 1906. the glass is etched with flowers on both pieces and is in perfect condition. The handle of the jug is securely attached and is attractively flattened on top, for a secure thumb hold. The silver rims have some slight dings but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance.

The set would have many uses - cream and sugar for strawberries; milk and sugar for tea or maybe whisky and ice!

Dimensions:

Jug - Height: 7.5cm

Width: 7cm at widest point.

Bowl - Height: 6cm

Diameter at top: 9.5cm.
