~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
The dial is enamel on copper with a gilt brass fretted centre, original blued steel hands and bevelled, convex glass. The modelling is crisp and well detailed with a bright and clean gilded finish. The pendulum can be seen swinging below the dial behind a fretted panel.

The movement is by the famous French maker Japy Freres and has their mark on the movement backplate. It is in excellent clean and working condition having been fully stripped, cleaned and tested by our clockmaker. The pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days on one wind and strikes the hours and half-hours on a bell. You can see the movement running and striking in the video clip below.

Condition of the case is excellent with a bright and clean finish, there is some very minor wear to the original gilding and some minor discolouration in places. The dial is in very good condition with just some tiny nibbles around the winding holes. A stunning Rococo clock, ready to grace your wall.
