Description

Early 19th.c. mahogany console or side table c.1840. Of restrained design and useful slim dimensions, just 20" front to back. Superbly figured single piece solid mahogany top with a deep crossbanded edge over two drawers hidden in the apron. Raised on square column legs with moulded plinth and carved feet, joined with a long turned mahogany stretcher. Some wear to the top and small repairs to the veneers on the drawer fronts, otherwise excellent condition and good mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
