A stunning Victorian 3.22 carat diamond and 2.10 carat aquamarine, seed pearl and 18 carat gold pendant / brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections
This stunning, fine and impressive antique aquamarine pendant has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with an 18 ct white gold setting.
The pierced decorated, heart shaped frame displays a 2.10 ct oval mixed cut aquamarine, ten claw set in relief to the centre of the arrangement.
The design has interwoven scrolling motifs, ornamented to the upper borders with with a feature 0.88 ct and 0.78 ct Old European cut diamond.
A further six collet and claw set diamonds in a combination of Old European cuts and Dutch cuts embellish the openwork frame.
Three seed pearls complete the design, and a single seed pearl terminal suspends from the lower border of the heart shape design.
The pendant is fitted with a removable 18 ct white gold ring loop attachment to the upper border, collet set with three graduated Old European round diamonds.
The pendant suspends from an 18" 18 ct yellow gold chain, composed of alternating twisted bar and fancy knotted links.
The chain secures with a push fit clasp to the reverse, hallmarked with the mark for 18 ct gold (18CT).
This versatile piece of Victorian jewellery may also be worn as a brooch via a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse; This may be removed to allow the pendant so sit flush if so desired.
This stunning antique Victorian brooch / pendant is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
