Tall Burr Walnut Serpentine Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

An excellent tall burr walnut chest of drawers. Well made in walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers and of sweeping serpentine form. Ample storage capacity is afforded by the arrangement of 7 long, graduate drawers. Each drawer is fitted with its original brass swan-neck handles. Drawer fronts are cross-banded as is the top of the chest. There is also a brushing slide and the whole thing stands well on bracket feet. We have this chest sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It is now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a marvellous colour and patina,
