The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is fully signed and the serial number dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover, this inner cover has quite a lot of scratches where it has been opened in the past.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and has attractive decoration to both the front and back, although it has rubbed so is fainter than it would have originally been. The case back has a fairly shallow indentation but other than that the outside of the case is in good condition. There are some scratches inside the covers.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is in lovely condition and the blued steel Breguet style hands are a very handsome feature.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
