Swiss Full Hunter Pocket Watch and Chain, Circa 1910s

A Swiss full hunter pocket watch, circa 1910s.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover, there is a little scratching on this inner cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific case maker who supplied various watch companies. Overall the case is in a decent condition, just a couple of pin pricks and a small slight indentation.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The original glass lenses were often changed for acrylic if they broke as it is a much more durable material.

The white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack, not too noticeable to the naked eye. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single chain, 28cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Also included is a small fob with a registered design number for 1914-1915.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
