A most unusual desk-top accessory with a Scottish theme, the handle with a stunning cut smoky quartz handle in the form of a thistle flower.

The base of the thistle is made from English sterling silver fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1902, early Edwardian in era. The maker's initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Crisford and Norris.

The blade is made from period Ivory.

Excellent condition and measuring 8" x 1 1/4" x 1".
