A superb quality Japanese Meiji period bronze okimono of a prowling tiger beautifully drawn with a slightly hunched back, his head raised and roaring with teeth showing, the tigers strips in relief with a lighter patination. This splendid Japanese bronze is in excellent condition with no damage and measures 18 inches in length.
