Description

19th Century mahogany upholstered armchair, the ultimate armchair that does everything, the arms open up, the back drops down, the foot rest pulls out and ratchets up to various heights, there’s a writing / book rest and also a stand for your tea / whisky to rest on. The brass fittings are of good quality and the castors have been replaced at some point, I haven’t seen a patent mark but would expect one, an all round comfortable seat. Circa 1880.
