A 1920s Dreadnought Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1920s Dreadnought pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality Dreadnought stem-winding movement, with jewelled pallets, a whiplash regulator and damascening, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack between 9 & 10 o'clock although hardly noticeable.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
