A large bespoke mid-Victorian oak pedestal desk. Nine drawers in three sections and featuring a leather writing surface. Arcged outer side panels, lozenge inner. The kneehole measures 33" wide and 24" high. Provenance: Commissioned by John Gibbs of Goddards, Abinger, Surrey, a significant house by Lutyens 1898 and now a Landmark Trust property.
