George III Solid Silver Snuff Box 1803

This Rare and Unusual early 19th century GEORGE III SOLID SILVER SNUFF BOX was made by Abstinado King in 1803.

Of rectangular curved form, with hinged lid, this lovely snuff box has an all over unusual engraved design and retains the original vibrant gilt coating to the inside. The hinge is flush to the surface and the lid opens and closes properly.

Free from any added inscriptions, monograms or initials, this superb antique is in excellent condition despite being 214 years old and would enhance any collection or make a wonderful gift.

One split in the seam on the inner ridge of the lid (not visible outside - mentioned for accuracy).
