Victorian Solid Silver Vesta Case 1894

This unusual SOLID SILVER VESTA CASE was made by John Millward Banks in 1894.

This lovely Antique Vesta Case has an all over swirl design with gadrooned top and bottom and is complete with fob link to the lid. To the inside this quality piece retains the original gilt coating and despite being over 120 years old is in remarkably good condition. The hinge is strong and the lid closes correctly and there are no added initials, monograms or engravings.

A superb example in excellent condition which would enhance any collection or make a wonderful gift for someone.
