A very beautiful 18th Century English chair with well shaped yew wood comb and arm rail, elm seat and well turned legs united by the original shaped H stretcher.

Of an attractive primitive form made by hand in c. 1780

Principally in excellent original condition with some minor restorations. The legs are original but all have been re-tipped - professionally done a long time ago and completely sound and stable.

A very comfortable and sturdy chair with a fantastic colour and well developed natural patina.
