The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 387, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 42,280,717 dates it back to 1944. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The nickel case has surface marking from use but nothing serious at all. It has an attractive rope twist edge around the bezel and case back.

The plastic lens is in good condition.
The watch comes with a double albert with each chain measuring 23cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
