Description

A 1930s Denco full hunter pocket watch in lovely condition.

The watch has a 17-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Denco name… Denco was one of the brand names used by Dennison for their own brand of watches. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover upon which is an engraving which reads, ‘Presented to F J Hocking, as a token of esteem from friends, R.O.F 1936’. The outside of the case is in good condition for a 1930s piece, there are a couple of surface scratches but not too detrimental at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside the front cover, there is another inscription, the initials TJW (in whichever order) and the date 3 Sep 82. The glass lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
