A Superb Pair of Regency Cut Glass Condiment Tubs.

A gorgeous pair of cut glass condiment tubs from the Regency period . These handsome examples have hobnail and slice cut sides and star cut shaped bases . The rims are 'Van dyke' cut with fans.

The tubs are of usable size and would make a useful and attractive addition to a well laid table, serving as salt, parmesan or French and English mustard bowls. Alternative ideas are sauces, such as mint, cranberry, mayonnaise etc.

Condition :- Very good with no cracks. A few age related minor blemishes are commensurate with age. There is one area that has a piece of ash, fallen from the kiln in production. It has a small 'starburst' around it and is not damage but in the manufacture - shown in photograph.
