Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The desk has a raised gallery at the back and a bank of 4 drawers with a pigeon hole in the centre, the gallery and the drawer fronts have superbly carved lions masks forming the handles.

There are four more carved drawers beneath the tooled leather top and it stands on turned oak legs
The desk in very good condition for its age and the leather is new
This is an unusual piece to come across and a delight to look at it would work very well in a study or in fact any other room
